Liza Frulla

The Honourable Liza Frulla was a Member of Parliament in the Canadian House of Commons from 2002 to 2006. She was made a member of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada on December 12, 2003. She first served as Minister of Social Development, and was subsequently named Minister of Canadian Heritage and Minister responsible for the Status of Women in the cabinet of Prime Minister Paul Martin. From 1989 to 1998, she was elected to Quebec’s National Assembly where she served as Minister of Communications, Minister of Cultural Affairs and Minister Responsible for la Francophonie. In 1998, she left the National Assembly to host her own show, Liza, on public broadcaster CBC until 2002. She currently is a Political Analyst with CBC, Associate Professor of Public Governance at Sherbrooke University, and sits on the boards of several public and charitable organizations.
