LINDA CULLEN

For over 20 years, as half of the comedy team on Double Exposure, Linda Cullen has been one of Canada’s best known comedians. Double Exposure ran on CBC radio for over ten years, won an ACTRA award and National Radio Award, and with an audience of over 500,000, was CBC’s most popular comedy show. In 1997 Double Exposure made the switch to television and for three years, was CTV’s top rated Canadian comedy show, earning seven Gemini nominations. Double Exposure has also won the U.S. International Film, Video Festival Gold Camera Award, Saskatoon Film and Video Festival’s Golden Sheaf Award. Alongside Double Exposure, Linda has written and produced several other series’ for the Comedy Network.

In 2004, as part of Double Exposure, Linda was inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame.

For almost four years, Linda has been writing a weekly column for Vancouver’s daily newspaper 24 Hours, and last year released a book titled 5,378 Tips for a Better Life, Hotter Sex, Fresher Breath, Thicker Hair, Thinner Thighs & Cleaner Laundry! (Not necessarily in that order), which is now an entry for the Stephen Leacock Medal of Humour.

In May 2009, Linda and her partner in comedy, Bob Robertson, launched their latest enterprise: a weekly podcast on their new website doublexposureradio.com, which has quickly become one of the most popular comedy podcasts on iTunes.
