LEAH PINSENT

Leah Pinsent is an award winning Canadian actress, nominated for multiple Gemini and Genie awards throughout her career. Among her various TV and film roles, Leah has been best known for her leads in the Rick Mercer series, Made in Canada, and various Ken Finkleman projects. Most recently she starred in two feature films, a comedy Eating Buccaneers and the drama, The Bend, due for release later this year. Leah co-created, executive produced and starred in the 2010 CBC special titled Love Letters as well as Republic of Doyle. Her most recent work includes starring in the Global pilot, Rise Up, where she appears alongside Mary Walsh, Nicholas Campbell and Mark McKinney.
