Kay Stanley

Ms. Stanley is an energetic change agent with extensive experience in educational and governmental environments. With expertise in domestic and international affairs, federal-provincial relations and citizen engagement, she is a skilled communicator with a solid track record as an advocate for women, humanitarian values and professional ethics. Among a number of positions at senior levels in the Federal Public Service, she was Deputy Head of Status of Women Canada from 1986 to 1993 and the Assistant Deputy Minister (Health Promotion and Programs Branch) from 1993 to 1997 at Health Canada. She was the President of the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service (APEX) prior to her retirement. Ms. Stanley has been a Member of the Board of Governors at The Ottawa Hospital since 2002 and is the past Chair of its Quality Committee.
