Janet Yale

Ms. Yale is Executive Vice-President of Corporate Affairs at TELUS. She was president of the Canadian Cable Television Association prior to joining TELUS. With more than 20 years of government and regulatory experience, Janet has held senior leadership positions at AT&T Canada, the CRTC and the Consumer's Association of Canada. In 2001, the Canadian Women in Communications organization named her "Woman of the Year" and in 2004, 2005 and 2006, the Women's Executive Network named her one of “Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women” and inducted her into the Women’s Executive Network Hall of Fame in 2007. Ms. Yale was named Businesswoman of the Year (corporate) 2005 by the Women’s Business Network, and in 2006 was named Woman Leader of the Year by Federated Press.
