Francoise Bertrand

Since 2003, Ms. Bertrand has served as President and CEO of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ), the most influential business network in Québec, representing 162 chambers of commerce and 100,000 business people active in all sectors of the economy across the province. She is the former Chair of the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission. She is an expert in business strategy and communications, with more than 30 years experience leading major organizations, including senior partner at SECOR, a Montreal-based business management firm, former Dean of Resource Management at the University of Quebec (at Montréal) and CEO of Télé Québec. Ms. Bertrand was awarded France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in 2001 in recognition of her efforts to foster cooperation between Canadian and French institutions in the communications industry. In 2007, she. was recognized as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by the Women Executive Network.
