Council Members
The Leadership Council is an integral part of The Heart Truth campaign. The Council is made up of Canadian women who are leaders in the fields of health, sport, politics, media, research and scholarship, government, industry, business, philanthropy and community involvement. They each bring with them a wealth of skills and experience and a deep commitment to the cause of women’s health.
The Heart Truth Leadership Council is comprised of seventeen women from across the country, including Dr. Beth Abramson, Dr. Sonia Anand, Mme. Françoise Bertrand, Ms. Virginia Cirocco, Hon. Liza Frulla, Ms. Vicki Gabereau, Dr. Lynda Haverstock, Ms. Diane Jones-Konihowski, Ms. Kathryn E. Laurin, Ms. Lisa Meeches, Ms. Jan Mollenhauer, Dr. Veena Rawat, Ms. Gloria Sacks Silver, Ms. Donna Smith, Mrs. Kay Stanley, Dr. Miriam Stewart, Ms. Janet Yale and Dr Wendy Young.
